CrickChat ("we", "our", or "us") operates the CrickChat mobile application. This page informs users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of information.
Information Collection and Use
Some features of the app, such as chat functionality, require users to log in or create an account. During this process, we may collect basic information such as an email address (if applicable).
Users may also upload a profile photo, which is used only to display their profile within the app.
We may also process user-generated content such as messages for the purpose of providing chat functionality.
This information is used only to provide app features like chat and profile functionality. We do not sell user data to third parties. However, data may be processed by trusted third-party services such as Firebase (Google) to provide core functionality.
Apart from this, we do not collect any unnecessary personally identifiable information such as phone number, location, or address.
Third-Party Services
We use Firebase services (provided by Google) for authentication, storage, push notifications, analytics, and performance improvements. These services may collect:

- Crash reports
Advertising
CrickChat is free to use and displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, AdMob may collect and use:
- Your device's Advertising ID
- Device information (such as model, operating system and language)
- Approximate location based on IP address
- Ad interaction data (such as ad views and clicks)
This information may be used to show personalized or non-personalized ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time from your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on Android).

Coins and Rewarded Ads
The app includes an in-app coin system. Users can earn coins by voluntarily watching rewarded video ads, and coins are used to send chat messages. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, transferred, or exchanged for money. We store your coin balance and the number of rewarded ads watched with your account in order to provide this feature.

Upon request, we will delete the user's account and associated data (including profile information, messages and coin balance) within 7 days, unless retention is required for legal purposes.
Data Security
We value your trust in using our app. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Cookies
This app does not use cookies directly. However, third-party services such as Google AdMob and Firebase may use cookies or similar technologies to improve their services and serve ads.

Our app may contain links to external websites, including advertisements. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
